It makes me happy in such miniscule ways that Elizabeth Reaser (Esme) plays a character called Bella in The Ex-List. Also seeing twilight in 6 hours! so happy! and to the people at ontd_Twatlight they make me laugh in so many ways.

Ugh! I'm so damn happy right now! thank god it's holidays and i can squee all day in my room!

and i don't even care if no one else reads this but it doesn't even matter i'm in such a perpetual good mood.

So while searching on youtube and procrastinating (I have 6 assignments I should be working on) I came across this:

I just thought it was creepy cool, I found other cool stuff on youtube too, but none struck me as interesting as the comments made by Twain 100 years and more ago about religion. I don't really understand what it's saying (probably because i'm too young, but it's still cool.)

Eh... so I've argued with one of my friends. It's over nothing, but we're teenagers so everything is exaggerated tenfold. So basically, there's these things called movie marathons -self explanatory. And well my friend is a bit of a skank and she's picked the marathon where the rating is MA (no one under 15 without a parent or guardian) because of the older guys that will be in that one.

Now, rather than asking around and seeing what other people would like to see (because the marathon contains, Sweeney Todd, I am Legend and Rogue) my 'friend' just went and picked it herself. Never mind the fact that me and another girl have seen I am Legend twice, and others have already seen it, and the fact that half of use weren't asked and just expected to fall into line with what she wanted.

What my 'friend' didn't count on was the fact that I was going to stand up to her and say 'no, why don't we see this one (Cloverfield, Transformers, Bee Movie), half of us aren't interested in that one (Sweeney Todd).' When I asked her to see what the others would say about possibly changing the movie (because I'm not allowed to the Sweeney Todd marathon because it's a waste of money due to the fact that I'm not interested.) and she didn't. She bucked and said I don't think so and made stupid IM faces: =/ :) :( etc.

She then got angry (God knows why?) because I had the nerve to want to go to a different marathon. The thing you should know about this 'friend' is that she's been pimping this marathon for weeks and while no one gave her a direct response she just went right ahead and picked the movies she wanted to see. Now, this girl ALWAYS picks the movie marathons, and most of the time I'm unhappy because there's a better one, but it's 'the kid one' due to it's PG rating. Never mind the fact that I've sat through really bad marathons because she REALLY wanted to see it, but now won't return the favour,

I'm mad that this girl who I used to consider a really close friend, picked the boys over me. Boys she doesn't even know, but is hoping to hook up with because they both 'want some.'

So, i'm boycotting the movies, and not inviting her to the beach tomorrow. She can have the boys, but it might cost her her friends. She'll probably come to the beach, but we'll be doing what the general crowd wanted to, and not just her.

Besides, she'll hopefully be asleep anyway.

So.... again I'm bored at home.... I didn't get a call from work to come in (well not yet anyway... still hoping). I've actually taken to looking up phones on the internet... I'm curious about the Nokia N Series or just any decent phone (think hiptop or T-Moblie sidekick) that can get me on the internet. I'm not looking to buy straight away, but am interested in any reviews anyone's got. I'm not interested in the iPhone though, not after my ipod nano fourth gen. broke three times....

So, if anyone does stumble across this, let me know.

Author’s Notes: This is just a drabble I wrote in about five minutes, just meant to be a view of life after the Doctor. Hope you like it!


The noise is so loud, it roars in her ears. And she waits. She doesn’t know what for, or who. She just sits. Watching people, soaking them up. They bustle by living life like it’s a race. Always somewhere to be, always something that needs doing. The beeps and buzzes the talking. It makes her want to scream. But she doesn’t. She sits waiting. People give her funny looks, and mothers usher their children away. She is alone, even in this crowded world. No one understood her which is why she allows herself to be alone. She allows the noise to consume her, to listen to the different snippets of daily life. It is so mundane, so ignorant. So empty of thought and emotion. Which is why she despises them so. They feel nothing. Nothing except things they think matter. Money, work, food. Not the beauty that is life, the history that is theirs, literature words and pictures that live with meanings, but nothing to them. He showed her that, he showed her life. He gave her meaning. He gave life purpose. He lowered the volume and turned up the pace. He made the impossible real and everything available.

And no one would ever know.

I know they’re not all great, but this is really only my first proper attempt. Please credit if taking, no hotlinking, comments are loved!

So this is a pointless post... I'm just rather bored... going to a movie marathon tonight.... then celebrating nye with my besties.... but otherwise... yeah... I suppose you could call this a proper journal entry... Wait! Just had an idea... I'll share my thoughts on The Runaway Bride and Torchwood.... and I'll also post a teaser about one of my upcoming fics...

First off... the Runaway Bride... upon a second rewatching... I've decided that as much as I liked the episode... maybe the Rose mentions were a little too much. The flash back especially, although I AM looking forward to what is hopefully an emo doctor this season... (but only because David Tennant is just hot... hehe). This may be strange... but I actually really liked Donna, I thought she was a good transition from Rose, just because she was so different. It was a very fast paced episode in my opinon, and I loved the car chase on the motorway. Brilliant that was. And I admit, I squeed in fangirl delight when the Doctor finally mentioned his home planet. Yes, Gallifrey, it's the first mention in this series and hopefully not the last. To be honest I was getting rather annoyed about all the side stepping of it's name... Another good point in my book was that because it was so fast paced, the Doctor didn't have time to dwell over Rose... Which I'm quite glad for and we still got him acting maniclly. (if that's how it's spelt...) However, when the Doctor was killing the Racnoss' babies, I was quite frightened. Here's a dark dangerous man, who has truly lost everything he ever cared for. And if it wasn't for Donna, I don't think he would've relented. I think next season we'll be seeing a much more ruthless Doctor. If you think back to School Reunion, He specifically says 'I'm so old now, I used to have so much mercy.' He could quite possibly have even less now because he's got nothing to lose.

Onto Torchwood, and I must say that this is an awfully over sexed show. Funny as some of the quips are, and as cool as the alien fighting, tech and well written the scripts are, it seems that there's an overload on sex. It's like Russell T Davies and Chris Chibnall are thinking, 'Oh, we can't cram any of this into Doctor Who because it's a family show... let's have it all in Torchwood.'

Has anyone else noticed that every single member of Torchwood has had a same sex kiss? And they've all kissed each other basically.

I AM still writing Domesticity, I'm just taking a little bit longer because I'm working on two other fics. The first and farthest along is called Homesick at Spacecamp and it's my attempt at a Harry Potter/Doctor Who post Doomsday crossover. I haven't started posting yet, I want to complete all the chapters first.

The second is Choices and is another Post Doomsday, Post Runaway Bride Pre Smith and Jones fic. I'm not revealing any of this, only that I'm hoping my Rose is more mature than the one we saw in S1 and S2.

And of course Domesticity which is shaping up to be a longer fic than I first thought and as much as I want to work of HSAC, I'm going to complete Domesticity to the best of my ability.

Anyways, I think I've rambled enough for now... might see you on some of the comms... if anyone DOES bother to read this... :P

And secondly, I was on the Torchwood site and was looking at the photos of everyone, when I saw the picture of Ianto. Any one else think that his suit is the same brown pinstriped one that David Tennant wears as the Doctor?

Wow, my first entry... Doubt anyone will read it... Oh well. I suppose I should start off with the basics. My name is Brooke, I'm 13 and I live down under. Australia that is. Interests... I love Doctor Who. I'm like obsessed. Me and my friend Coryn (love ya darl *mwah*) we're both obsessed with the show AND Mr David Tennant who we consider our eye candy... Moving on... I'm absolutely devo that Billie Piper is leaving the show, but I wish her all the best for the future and hope she returns to Doctor Who one day. My other intrests are netball (I'm a GK or a WD) and I play and love golf (Although it's weird coz I can't hit with my drivers, I use a three iron). LOL this is starting to sound like it's a biogrophy. What am I doing now you ask? I'm watching Friday Night Live (It's like the weekly Big Brother Olympics). Actually I'm kinda tired, I have a blooming cold and it's worn me out. S'pose school did that too. At least I have two weeks off now. YAY FOR HOLIDAYS! Uh, I'm hoping to make some friends out of this, (keep me occupied on the holidays. Especially while I wait for the new series of Doctor Who to reach our shores...)
